We would like to thank everybody who attended or donated towards the sequence tea dance at Egton village hall on Sunday 17th November 2013.
Between ticket sales, donations and the raffle we raised £152, which will be going towards our hall maintenance.
I would like to give a special thank you to Judy Buck who organised the event.

No Cubs tonight but Beavers & Scouts running as normal
Join us at the Scout hall this Thursday for scary games, spooky music and terrifying snacks.
Come in fancy dress to blend in with the horrifying creatures of the night as “humans” will be eaten on sight.
Doors open at 6pm but be sure to be away for 9pm or you will be entombed for all eternity.
The price for entry is a frightful £2.50, so dust off those money boxes.
Entry is open for all members of Whitby District Scouts and siblings.
We will gladly accept donations of cakes and buns *hint hint*.
Don’t forget you can help to raise money for our group while shopping online, simply by registering with EasyFundraising and using the links to the online store from their page, and it will not cost you anything! Better yet no installs required (unless you want to), so how does it work? It places a cookie* on your computer which the shops webpage can detect and when you buy something they give a small percentage of the sale to us!
While not all online stores support EasyFundraising most of the big ones do, such as Asda, Argos, Amazon, BHS, eBay, GAME, Gucci, Hertz, iTunes, John Lewis, and many many more!
So give yourself an excuse to go shopping today and feel good about supporting your local Scout group.

Well summer camps over for another year and for the most part the kids enjoyed it. Hopefully they was all sufficiently tired that all the parents had a quiet night
Photos will be up later, maybe today but more likely later in the week.
I’ll also be checking how well some video clips of the talent show have come out (may be sound and lighting issues) and if they are decent they will be uploaded to our YouTube channel and links provided.
